Welcome to La Lègerie, our charming retreat since 2014, tucked away in the green and water‑rich heart of the Périgord Vert. On our 5‑hectare estate stands a beautifully converted French farmhouse with four luxurious and atmospheric gîtes: Le Creuset, La Châtaigne, Le Prince, and La Grenouille.
Here you’ll experience the peace of the countryside, the vastness of the nature park, and the comfort of modern, thoughtfully designed accommodations — all while preserving authentic French charm. Children can play endlessly on the grounds, make new friends in the play barn, and enjoy our heated and fenced swimming pool, safe and wonderfully relaxing.
La Lègerie is a family‑friendly and ideal base for families, bon vivants, and anyone looking to escape the rush of everyday life.
Four days a week, you are welcome to join our table d’hôte; on the other three days, we deliver freshly prepared meals to your gîte: seasonal creations, beautiful ingredients, and the pleasure of simply sitting back and enjoying. Our concept is simple: dine with us four times a week. No obligation — but something we truly appreciate, and something our guests consistently describe as one of the highlights of their stay.

The children can enjoy themselves in a large maze, a children's amusement park and a zoo.
Lake Le Grand Etang
A large lake for swimming, also great fun for the kids. You can easily go there by bicycle.
