About La Lègerie
In 2002 Anne's parents moved from the Netherlands to France to start their project. We believe they've succeeded as we can tell from the many enthusiastic reactions from those who've come on holiday here. When we arrived at La Lègerie for the first time, it was immediately apparent why Anne's parents decided to come live here. We ourselves had been dreaming of leaving Belgium and building ourselves a new life elsewhere for some years already. In September 2012, we made our offer to take over La Lègerie. Anne's parents agreed and now we have moved and started our new lives.

Our converted French farmstead is situated in the green and water-abundant Périgord Vert. The five-hectare domain houses three gîtes: Le Creuset, La Châtaigne and Le Petit Prince. The gîtes have all modern comforts and are decorated according to our own taste in a modern style, with respect for the typical French charm of the old farm.La Lègerie is set in the heart of the Parc naturel régional Périgord-Limousin, at the very southern edge of the departement Haute Vienne, just 150 meters from the border with the Dordogne.

A large lake for swimming, also great fun for the kids. You can easily go there by bicycle.
